Audience Research

In order to make my music video one key thing we had to look into was the type of audience our band has already acquired and how this would impact our production. Through our personal experiences with the band I knew that their main target audience was teenagers around the ages of 16-25 as this is the ages of the band. Our thoughts were confirmed after we looked at their facebook and twitter followers and went to one of their gigs were most of the audience were people of around the same age as us. With this in mind it gave us direction for when it came to casting our actors and for what we were going to have in our music video for example we wanted all our characters to be teenagers instead of old people as it meant that our audience would be able to relate to them more.
