Editing Diary..

After going out to film our narrative we had to come back and start putting it into our sequence. Although we already sort of had a plan as to where we wanted our narrative to go we still had to decide which shots should go where and if our pace kept up with the speed of the music. This was the most challenging part of the whole production because both me and Georgia had slightly different ideas on how we wanted everything to look and so we did have some creative differences. One good example of this is with the extreme close ups of Harry face from below when he is cycling on the bike. I wanted to save these shots for when the pace builds up a bit as they are really nice, fast moving shots however Georgia said that as they were probably our best shots we should use them throughout. In order to sort this out we thought the best idea would be to do two quick cuts and see which one looked best. Once we had done this I realised that maybe we didn't have enough good shots not to use them throughout but I did get my say in that we only use the ones where he is still or moving slowly as I really wanted the more panicked ones for the fast paced moments in the song!
